Outside
Even though we are heading into fall, last weekend it got pretty hot around here, as it often does in the fall. We took Griff outside to play on his new, hand-me-down activity gym under the shade of the olive, willow, and walnut trees. (And if you think that this toy is cause for ADD (ahem, Grandpa), then you haven't seen this...click on the video.) He loves trees, content to lay on a blanket or be held and look up at them for long periods of time (in baby time, that is). Once Griff became tired and it heated up even more, Darrell took him and stripped him down to his diaper and then put him in the baby carrier. They went for a little walk and then they settled into the chair swing for a nap together while I finally organized our shed full of baby gear!
