Great Grapes
Darrell, Griff, and I met Angie and Steely up at the Barber's property last Sunday to help with their annual grape harvest. This is at the same property where we were married and where we had our baby shower, so it is always fun to head up there for festivities. It was a gorgeous day with loads of sweet chardonnay grapes to harvest. Steely had a great time, helping to harvest grapes. But he really seemed to enjoy playing with the girls and helping to push the full bins of grapes down the rows. Griff slept in the carrier for a good amount of time, letting Darrell and I feel like we earned our keep. The Barbers always have an incredible lunch spread after the harvest, complete with wine from previous years' harvests. This year did not disappoint. We all enjoyed a wonderful lunch and Steely ran around like a mad man, having the time of his life with all the kids, running around and through the garden. It was a delight!
