Push It!

Griff isn't walking or standing on his own yet, but he loves to practice. He has been cruising the furniture for awhile, but walking with moving objects is relatively new. And he is enamored. It all started when he figured out that he could push around this little activity table that his Auntie Kelley gave him. It was a new revelation and he was thrilled. Then he figured out that he could push around his little car/toy box. And then he and his friend Lyla figured out that they could push the red wagon around the Barber's property. Check out the smile Griff is giving Lyla! Griff has also discovered wheel barrows. He loves to grab on and come for a walk. But his favorite hands down is his red radio flier wagon that was passed down from John Carothers' kids, Milena and Morgan. He determinedly pushes it around the yard and picks up things to put in it, rocks, sticks, branches, grass, and leaves mostly. And the last few days, we have taken him on little walks up the street with it, us guiding the direction and he pushing away. I think all the exercise is helping him to sleep better. And Darrell and I are sure that he dreams about it while he is asleep. Boy, when he wakes up in the morning, he can't wait to get outside and push around that wagon!
