Grandpa John
I know, long time no see. I am attempting another comeback on blogging and keeping everyone abreast of our family's happenings and developments. We'll see how it goes.
On that note, we had a really nice visit from Grandpa John this week. He lives in Boulder and we don't get to see him often enough. It was a real treat to spend time with him. We tried to hit up as many fun spots in Santa Cruz as we could in two days, Davenport Landing, Pogonip, the laundromat, Henry Cowell State Park, West Cliff Drive, Natural Bridges, and Downtown. We even squeezed in a visit with Uncle Christian in San Jose. At 27 months, Griff is a busy guy, in perpetual motion. Eating is a challenge when it involves sitting down or being still for more than a few moments. We spent a lot of time playing games, building things, and jumping while taking bites of food in between. Griff can find the fun climbing, running, and/or jumping options in any situation.
It was a very sweet visit. Griff really enjoyed spending time with his Grandpa John and we had a nice, relaxing time together, too. We hope to see more of Grandpa John soon.

Taking a picture with the munchkin can be a challenge, especially when he has a stick.
love your pictures! Maybe consider changing the blog name to no-longer-so-little-Griff :)
