Poppa's Knee Surgery
You might wonder where I have been. I have been ignoring the blog in trade for working on my dissertation. I have an enormous amount to do in a short time, so I have been working fairly steadily. But I need a break now and then. So I am attempting another blog catch-up. Check below for those posts. Anyhow, as I was looking back at some video from November, I came across this one. Darrell is having surgery tomorrow for a meniscus tear in his knee. He wasn't sure how he did it, but I think I might have captured it on video. We had just seen the Santa Cruz Dad's Precision Drill Team perform at the Halloween Parade a few weeks earlier and clearly Darrell was inspired.
Check him out practicing a move of great technical difficulty in the background of this video and you will see what I mean.
Keep your fingers crossed that the surgery goes swimmingly and Darrell is back to his old moves very soon!
